New! Bird Shield™ Keeps Birds From Eating Sweet Corn.

June 1, 2001

Chicago, IL. Bird Shield™, for sweet corn (& all other types of corn), sunflowers and other crops, is a newly EPA-registered product —previously used in all 50 states for cherries, blueberries and turf. It's a food-grade bird repellent (taste aversion agent), developed with major university assistance. Birds find the taste unappealing, so they leave for better food sources elsewhere. Bird Shield™ is biodegradable, so the sun breaks it down by the time you harvest, leaving no residue or taste.

Bird Shield™ was developed in response to the significant crop damage by birds and the subsequent financial loss for specialty corn growers. One flock can wipe out a year's harvest!

Bird Shield™ is sprayed aerially onto crops, using 1 pint of Bird Shield™diluted in 5 gallons of water per acre. Bird Shield™ is food grade and biodegradable.

Bird Shield™ is the latest offering from Bird-X, a company selling bird control products worldwide since 1964. All Bird-X products are environmentally friendly, and will not harm humans, birds, or land.
